1 Down, 5 To Go…

Kansas State demolished USC last night 80-67 and will now play Wisconsin on Saturday. I don’t really watch Big10 basketball so I’m not sure how good Wisconsin is. I know Bob Cousy would be proud of the style of basketball that Wisconsin plays but back in Kansas we actually like to run up and down the court and try to score points…

Kansas State will beat Wisconsin or my brackets are blown, and they will beat them. Let’s not forget where some of the credit should go–Bob Huggins, the former coach who fell into disfavor over a DUI and now coaches West Virginia, and who is the ONE who recruited most of the current KSU players including Mr. Basketball Michael Beasley.
IPFW might be in next year’s tournament. That might make the value of Mike’s and my IPFW degrees rise if they get far.
Dan,
Huggins does deserve credit but not necessarily for recruiting Beasley. He hired Beasley’s coach, Dalonte Hill, as an assistant coach and that’s why he chose KSU.
While I think most K-State fans recognize that Huggins was the one that brought the program back from the abyss, they are all pissed about how he left after one season…
Tough break this afternoon, Jeff. On the other hand, the Wildcats got to spend some time in Omaha and that’s always a good thing.
Jeff - It looks like Wisconsin also likes to “run and score” I would say that was a rout this PM.
My Boilermakers looked a little better than KSU - but they also have to wait til next year.
Yea the Wisconsin guards made ours look silly. We didn’t make a single 3-pointer and they made 9 or 10.
Oh well there is always next season…
Ummm Wisconsin!!
Hope Wisconsin plays Davidson smart enough.
You still have Kansas.
Indiana schools haven’t done well this year.
Jeff - That basketball team from Lawrence, Kansas can sure play the game - Wow! We have an All-Midwest final game this year - And Ohio State won the “tournament for those not chosen”(also known as the NIT). The East, West and South came up short this year!
