AN ORDINANCE amending Chapter 38 City Policies, of the City of Fort Wayne Code of Ordinances
Provide electronic access public notice made available on the internet

The ordinance, being introduced by Councilman Mitch Harper, is listed under both the Committee Session and Regular Session agendas. This means that Council will discuss the ordinance in Committee first, discussing the language, hashing out any changes and speaking to the merits of the proposed legislation.

The ordinance will then be taken up later during the Regular session of the Common Council at which point a decisive vote will likely be taken.

Citizen input can conceivably occur two ways tonight. To speak during the Committee session, a citizen must make a request to City Clerk Sandy Kennedy.

Also, tonight’s meeting includes the Regular session, which means that there will be an “open mic” for citizens to make comments on any topic. However, this occurs after Council business has already been decided and would essentially be a time for comment and not necessarily input.
