A Horrible Day For McCain

The US applies a strategy of “appeasement” by sitting down with Iranian officials and Iraqi Prime Minister Al-Maliki agrees with Obama’s 16 month timetable for withdrawal from Iraq.

That just about undercuts McCain’s entire foreign policy campaign in one fell swoop…

    Jeff,

It is a tough day for McCain…

I am disappointed that we talked to Iran; however, it is not McCain’s fault that we talked to Iran.

I agree with Obama and Al-Malaki on the timeline for troop withdrawl.

That being said, if OBama is President he will in no way honor his commitment to get all of our troops out of Iraq per the timetable he has promised.

“I am disappointed that we talked to Iran; however, it is not McCain’s fault that we talked to Iran.”

Oh, yes, that “talking” is very dangerous. Enough talking, and we might forget to get our war on.

Don’t worry, though. The kind of “talking” the Bushies / McCainiacs do, thay call “coercive diplomacy.” By this, they mean the crudest sort of shouted ultimata; and even if those are complied with, the invasion gets launched anyway. You could ask Hussein about that, if he hadn’t already been lynched. “Disarm or be invaded!” snarled Bush. “We’ve disarmed, and here’s the report,” said Saddam, truthfully. “Liar!” said Bush, invading. Later on, the Young Dauphin of Crawford used that as a National Press Club roast joke. Funny, funny … thousands of dead Americans and hundreds of thousands of dead Iraqis are no doubt convulsed with mirth.

Two Afghan women prepare to be executed by Islamic fundamentalists. If Muslims in the West truly oppose this, then why do less than 10% support the effort necessary to keep the Taliban from reclaiming power?
