It’s news. A toad is news. There are publics and there are publics out there; and there are people, places, events, trends, issues, problems, solutions, failures, successes, and so much more–daily news potential and is NOT covered. It’s simply not possible. Even twice as many traditional media, new media and TV and radio media wouldn’t cure that.

Yesterday, a person at a downtown restaurant commented that in this town, they could get a story out of a toad. The person meant that there are stories out there all over.

We are fortunate to have the blogs or we may be at risk of falling into the George Wills scenario: “Perhaps the public prefers to remain ignorant after all.” Not if Fort Wayne media can help it.

    Yes it’s news.
