In the Clifford Clarke thread there was some talk about the county IT director’s Godzilla toy in his office. Well this photo was sent to me today…

STOP THE PRESSES!! I have a picture of my fiance on my desk. The guy next to me has a Colts football helmet and a slinky. Our boss has those swinging pendulum balls and a globe in his office.

There is a guy in one of the other offices that has a life sized football player cutout in his cube.

    WHO CARES!!?!!

Anyone who works in Government and doesn’t have a sense of humor should have their skull checked.

Let’s focus on the important matters.

Whomever keeps making this accusation is a liar. That is not the county IT director’s desk. That is the desk of another employee who works in the same area.

Yeah, and that’s NOT Godzilla and the Red Ranger on that desk…it’s the Pape and Hines action(less) figures I heard tell about.

    ;)

Obviously people shouldn’t take this so seriously. There was talk about Godzilla and someone sent me a photo and I thought people might get a chuckle out of it.

I could care less if employees have Barbie dolls on their desk. I keep this goofy one-legged monkey thing hanging in my office because someone gave it to me as a silly gift years ago.

As Sergent Hulka would say - “Lighten up Francis”

I know Soundwave is there too, how come he didn’t get in the picture??? Are we discriminating against obsolete casette-playing transformers beyond their “toy” status?

    …the nerve

“As for John Colgate, he never said a whole lot to me, but I know he has always done a great job. He is a good person, and he knows what he is talking about. We have always gone to Colgate when we couldn’t get answers from anyone else in management and we always got results.”

Once again someone has mistaken me for someone else..

People, let’s get this straight. JOHN COLGATE DOES NOT WORK FOR ACS, the city of Fort Wayne or, Allen County. NEVER HAVE!!!!

I think that they are referring to Mike Colgate. He is the Network Security Administrator for ACS. He also trolls as Jimmy Branton’s sidekick. he also is found as a reference in the dictionary under the words:

    Angry
    Bitter
    Unqualified
    Lazy

Is the rumor true that ACS is looking to acquire Atos the new IT provider for the city and county? ACS appears to have grown through acquisition. Also is it likely IBM may acquire ACS since HP acquired EDS?

If ACS acquires ATOS it will be an American owned French company with an Indiana Only Business prescence—which means the City will be buying American and locally. Fascinating. That means the money from Fort Wayne could go to France and then come back to Texas where it could be distributed to Indiana, unless illegal immigrants came through the Texas border and stole it on their way to Indiana, of course, then the money would find its way back to our local community.
