Welfare Helps Pay For Boob Job

Posted by Jeff Pruitt - 8/18/08 @ 12:04 am - Filed Under Uncategorized

Regular readers know I don’t blog much about my personal life except for a rare baby picture or something like that. However, I just have to vent about this. My brother-in-law’s girlfriend is on welfare yet she informed my wife tonight that she’s getting a boob job. She has a job but evidently doesn’t make enough to support her two kids so she receives assistance.

I can’t tell you how pissed this kind of crap makes me. I grew up in a family that respected the role welfare could play in helping needy families get through tough times and create new taxpayers. My Dad and his 6 siblings are a shining example of how welfare can help children become productive members of society.

I obviously think my brother-in-law’s girlfriend is making an idiotic decision and I’m sure I’ll get the opportunity to tell her that next time I see her. Or maybe she’ll just read this post…

    Jeff:
I hear ‘ya man. I see evidence of welfare abuse every single day.

Now you tell me HOW on God’s green earth can someone with NO job, and THREE KIDS can afford a have a brand new VEHICLE parked in front of a house worth less than $8000?

And how can they afford ALL those “fly” clothes and jewelry, and “athletic” shoes?

The welfare system (when properly used for the right reason) is a first rate SYOP-GAP measure to ensure that people don’t wind up financially “belly-up” in the great pond of society…and it works VERY well in that regard.

But abuses such as you describe and what I see is nothing short of fraud…plain and simple.
And that hurts EVERYONE in the long run, right?

I bet your brother-in-law is thrilled with you for this post.

Jeff, I laughed out loud when I saw this post. “I dont blog much about my personal life” but when you do, you make it count by going right to the topic of your future sister-in-law’s breasts!! LOL.

    Mr Green Jeans,

Future sister-in-law? I doubt it. And besides they live in Kansas so I doubt they read the site all that often. On top of that, I really don’t care she does read it…

The sad truth is that with EVERY good social program, there will be those that abuse it.

  6. Jeff Pruitt on August 18th, 2008 4:55 pm

Agreed Kevin. Unfortunately the positive stories rarely get told. I guess I’m guilty of that as well with this post…

Yes, fake boobs are nasty. Not sure why this is an important issue. If you want to find other problems or abuses, they aren’t hard to find. This blog entry sounds like Entertainment Tonite crossed with Bill O’Reilly.

If she is a stripper it is a good investment…pure capitalism. So if she paid 2K more for a car this would be worthy of a post? think about it

bob g. sorry you sound like a racist

Jeff, I kind of understand your point, but I need more information to fully analyze the situation. Can you provide some pictures? - And I’m not referring to the food stamps.

Seriously though, if you thought she was going to be your sister-in-law someday then I wouldn’t make this request. So if they do end up marrying, try to forget that I once asked to see her boobs.

Kansas must use the “eyeball” method of judging “medically necessary” health care.

My mind jumps to: What program would pay for it?

Even commercial health insurance balks at “cosmetic surgery.”

We all know Cher paid for all her serial ops herself.

Taxpayer money? Not here in Indiana at least.

Yes, fake boobs are nasty. Not sure why this is an important issue.

I didn’t say that. I just wanted to vent and since I publish the blog I can do that every once in a while.

This blog entry sounds like Entertainment Tonite crossed with Bill O’Reilly

Ok I can take just about any criticism in stride but comparing me to Bill O’Reilly? That’s almost a bannable offense…

    Dear Mr. Anonymous:

It’s AMAZING! Some one says somthing everyone knows is true and someone else jumps on the “Racist” spew.

When you don’t have a defense for the action you call the speaker RACIST. Go figure! AND…..

Any one compairing anyone else to Bill Oraly should be banned!!!

Knuth, I can’t stop laughing at your reference to welfare as a “good social program.” You ought to take that show on the road, my friend. It’ll be a hit. As Keith Cumtwa often says, “Now that right there is funny.”

  15. Keith Cumtwa on August 19th, 2008 10:33 am

Anyone spelling O’Reilly as “Oraly” should also be banned.

    Anon:
If by your implication you mean that I detest ANY person that is too damn ignorant to be a productive member of society, or portray themselves as “poor” when they PLAY THE SYSTEM (like a cheap fiddle) to further their OWN hedonistic desires, then YES, your statement “could” be construed as correct.

But know this…EVERY race is guilty of it, so your incorrect assumption to a particular ethnicity is unfounded.

Sorry…in a battle of wits, sometimes it’s like shooting an UNARMED person!

BTW, Thanks John…I know YOU understand (as does probably everyone else).

I see abuse of the welfare system every single day while I am at work. Young and older people that are capable of getting work that refuse to find a job because the current system makes easy for them not to. They come into the hospital’s ER where I work every single day for things that trip to the local urgent care could take care of. Every time they step foot through the ER doors they are costing taxpayers money. We are paying for their stupidity and laziness. It is ridiculous that someone would have to go to ER for a tick attached to their forehead!! That little stunt just cost taxpayers about a $1000. This is just a sample of what they come in for. Then you have those that we call regulars-those that come in just because they can, they don’t have to pay for it! Put an end to this foolish waste of taxpayers money.
