Senate Democrats on the Verge of Colossal Mistake

Issuing a government-approved monopoly to insurance providers by mandating everyone buy insurance. Gee, that sounds like it will definitely bring costs down - what could possibly go wrong?

They should pass the motherhood and apple pie parts of the bill, kill the mandates and go back to the drawing board…

    Jeff,

What are the “motherhood and apple pie” portions of this bill?

Jeff, I would agree- but lets have a little more patience.

There is a difference between what is being discussed and what the final bill that the house and senate have to agree on will look like.

However, if the final bill DOES mandate insurance coverage without a public option, I, sadly, think it should be killed as well.

It’s already being reported not every american will be covered. Wasn’t that the whole point of all this mess? I’m sure the dems will start to say those not covered will be illegal aliens. They’ll claim the 40 million included illegals but not now. This is a mess glad the republicans stayed away from it. let the dems hang themselves over it.
