Deputy Mayor’s Resignation Presents a Savings Opportunity

With the deputy mayor resigning today, the city can now save $115k per year by not filling the position since the administration’s payroll is too large as it is. The mayor makes a good salary and has many competent department heads to manage the day-to-day operations. He should be capable of overseeing their performance without the need for a deputy mayor…

Problem is, where will the mayor turn for bad advice now?

When in doubt go with the experienced Pat Roller

While many residents of Fort Wayne, Allen County, Indiana and throughout the United States are fighting to make ends meet the mayor decides now is the time to politically, socially and economically rape the citizens of our city.

His decision, endorsed by Councilman Tim Pape, to continue to pay former Deputy Mayor Purcell AFTER he has vacated the office is an insult and attack on the moral fibers of our city.

The liberal, casual and wasteful spending policies of President Barak Obama and the DC Democratic machine has reached up from unethical hell and cast its ignorance into the policies of Mayor Henry and council puppet Pape.

I call upon the other members of council, to step in and take whatever legal action is possible, to prevent this unjust, unwarranted and uncalled for expenditure of taxpayer monies.

I wish I had been paying attention back when Tom Henry was a Councilman. Has he always been this way? Surely, somebody else must now be calling the shots, and Hizzonor just fumbling their execution?

How do you promote Controller Roller into Stand-In Deputy (all the while still carrying out the myriad duties of Controller), when, as Controller, she has all this while flagrantly refused Council’s request for reports of where all the money goes? (LISTS, Roller, just make LISTS!)

And then, in the span of only a few days, the breathtaking move of offering to loan out millions of city dollars without even running it by Council! I really don’t think he knew he was supposed to run it by Council . .. How are we not to despair?

I believe it is time for us to remove the inept, bumbling fool from the mayor’s office and replace him with someone who can at least utter a complete sentence.

Tough talk from people who will not use their real names…sad!

OK, Kevin - I believe it is time for us to remove the inept, bumbling fool from the mayor’s office and replace him with someone who can at least utter a complete sentence! This all started with another inept, unlawful acting, narcisstic, and “little napoleonic” predecessor to the present mayor. John B. Kalb

Kevin, I am afraid to sign my name for fear of retaliation. I would SO love to stand up and call these clowns out, but the city’s ability to persecute me is endless, and my resources and tolerance are not.

Kalb- Though you and I disagree- neither of us hide who we are!
