New 3rd District Poll Open

The last poll had Stutzman winning easily. I’ve eliminated some people and am interested in seeing how this might change the vote. Other interesting issues:
- Will the recent Souder facebook message have a negative impact on “Souder insiders”?
- Is Elijah really coming on strong?
- Can Thomas use the latest anti-Souder sentiment as leverage for his outsider status?
- Can Brown rally enough Allen County support to pull it out
Lot of jockying left to go. Go ahead and vote in the new poll over in the far sidebar…

Your revised poll is the right way to do it - because in the end (informed sources guess there will be 4 ballots - that sounds about right although I would predict 3, given the rules) there will not be 15 candidates to choose from, just a few.
Just as a point of reference, when the caucus was held for Bob Alderman’s Rep seat that went 5 rounds. I want to say there were 5 or 6 running.
“Is Elijah really coming on strong?”
As a PC, I’ve been polling voters in my precinct (and anyone I can for that matter). Elijah appeals to many due to what I would call a “lack of perceived negatives.”
When I’ve asked conservative Democrats if they would favor 1 of the 15, 2 of 3 said Elijah (the other said Stutzman or Elijah).
Dave, I thought that was the case but good to get some confirmation - thanks.
Kurt/Karen,
I think 4 or 5 rounds sounds right and I would expect several to be eliminated in the first round.
